Alexander Katsis was born in 1979 in Athens, Greece. His interest in photo journalism started in 2007 while attending art photography classes in Ash In Art. In 2008 he attended seminars by Platon Rivelis while from 2009 until today he has been trained by Thanos Papadopoulos. From 2007 Alexander has participated in numerous group exhibitions of national and international level and has won national and international competitions. His photographs have appeared in many print media. In 2011 he covered photographically the preparation of the Greek Mission of Special Olympics and during the races he was in charge of the Documentation Team of the International Committee (Special Olympics International).
